Site Clearing for the new FOP 25 LodgeOn September 21, 2011 at about 1300HRS, the site for the future meeting hall for FOP Lodge 25 was being prepared by bulldozers.  The pre-construction process is underway.  Please, observe the progress from the public sidewalk and do not physically enter the construction site for legal reasons.  The entire property, including the boat dock and ramp, are closed to our members and visitors.  We anticipate a completion date in about 3 to 4 months - weather permitting.  Keep up to date by visiting this website or following FOP25 on Twitter at twitter.com/fop25.

UPDATE: The construction loan was signed on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 with CNLBank officially making the construction of the new Lodge a reality.  Our general contractor Tom Gehrig, with Vista Constructors Inc., has been working with our new architect, Steve Krone AIA, and our civil engineer Torben Abbott, with Harris Civil Engineering, finalizing some finer details with the various building departments.  It is now projected that shovels will be hitting the ground sometime during the first or second week in September of 2011.
