The Fraternal Order of Police Orlando Lodge #25 is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Poker Run! The annual Poker Run benefits Fraternal Order of Police Orlando Lodge #25 and sending its members, active and retired Orlando Police Officers, to the National Police Officers’ Memorial Service in Washington D.C.
This event brings awareness to the dangers in law enforcement and commemorates the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers while local musicians in our community gain notoriety and honor law enforcement officers everywhere along with Poker Run Participants and guests.
This event is staffed by FOP Lodge #25 members, both active and retired law enforcement officers, along with members of FOP Lodge #25 Associates; a group of dedicated citizens living in our community who share the mission of the Fraternal Order of Police. Prospective Sponsors/Sponsors: Logos must be received by 5pm on February 28, 2013 to have your logo incorporated on promotional materials. After that time, logos will be on selected publications.

EVENT INFORMATION:
Those who wish to participate in the Poker Run need to arrive at F.O.P. Lodge #25, 5505 Hansel Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809 at 10:00 A.M. for registration. A caravan of over 100 expected participants will leave FOP Lodge #25 by 10:30 A.M. The caravan will travel across metropolitan Orlando to five predetermined locations. Participants will receive a playing card at each location. The caravan will return to FOP Lodge #25 at approximately 3:00 P.M. The participant with the best poker hand will win the grand prize. Raffles will also take place during this event. Participants must provide their own transportation and may travel to the predetermined locations by motorcycle or by car.
Entertainment will be provided by local musicians and invited guests. This event is open to the public.

This event allows local musicians in our community to gain notoriety and bringing awareness to the dangers in law enforcement, as well as, commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers.
Pre-Order for Live Music Performances ($10) will be available online and at the door ($15). Seating is limited for the acoustic and band performances so get your tickets online and don't get left out.

The National Law Enforcement Memorial, located in Washington D.C., honors all of America's federal, state, and local law enforcement officers. The names of fifteen fallen Orlando Police Officers are inscribed on the memorial's blue-gray marble walls along with more than 15,000 officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
